OD6 Metals (ASX OD6), Research and Coverage

OD6 Metals Ltd (ASX: OD6). OD6 Metals is an exploration company. That means it looks for minerals in the ground and is not yet mining or selling anything, so the money it spends comes from shareholders rather than from sales. Its work sits across four projects in two countries: fluorspar in Nevada in the United States, two rare earth projects in Western Australia, and copper in New South Wales. Fluorspar is the commercial name for the mineral calcium fluoride, and it is the feedstock for hydrofluoric acid, which in turn goes into refrigerants, aluminium smelting and battery chemicals. Rare earths are a group of seventeen metals used in the permanent magnets inside electric car motors and wind turbines. Through 2025 the company's main story was rare earths at Splinter Rock. Through 2026 the spending and the announcements have moved to the Quinn fluorspar project in Nevada.
